SUPERHOT and SUPERHOT VR are both seperate, functionally different games. Not all games can have a non-VR and VR version combined into one game. The game in general feels unpolished, they could have made it much better if they wanted to, but they grabbed the money and went on to another project. Typically the vr version suffers the most when it comes to combined versions. It’s always better to have separate versions for vr and non vr. They are functionally very different in a lot of ways such that if they were crammed into one game it would detract from one or both versions. Having VR and non VR version of the same game is just a money grab indeed. It is very well possible to combine both versions in one game and make it work very well together, for example in "Pulsar Lost Colony" it is flawless. Most companies these days even make you pay for next gen and old gen separately unfortunately. Even that is more than you’d typically get when getting 2 versions of a game. You do get a discount if you own on though so there’s that. You wouldn’t expect to get a copy on Xbox if you bought it on PlayStation would you? Same concept.
